The rota week

The weekday each rota week begins on (many teams use Monday; some use Sunday).

Default shift times

Pre-filled when you create a new shift (you can always change them per shift).

Timezone

Determines “today”, the current week, and the real (DST-aware) length of a shift that crosses a daylight-saving change.

Rostera plans staff shifts and their hours only. It is not payroll and not a time clock: no pay rates, no wages, no payments, no clock-in or attendance capture.
